What we did: We attended a pub in Henham to carry out an annual inspection of their fire extinguisher's and service them. We discovered that all extinguishers on site were in working order and up to date with UK regulations, meaning they were all safe to use. However - two extinguishers were due to expire next year and as such, we've made a note in the company's file to ensure that when we return for next years annual service, we can take two new fire extinguisher's with us to replace them. An expired fire extinguisher may not work correctly or be effective in a fire so it's important to replace them when necessary! Regular annual servicing is crucial for ensuring fire extinguishers work when they’re needed most.
