Dry Riser Testing and Maintenance
What we did: The engineer attended site to carry out the necessary remedial works on Dry Riser 2, following issues identified during a previous inspection. Upon arrival, the engineer isolated the system and safely removed the defective B2 landing valve, which had shown signs of wear and was no longer compliant with current standards. A new BS5041-compliant landing valve was installed in its place. Once the installation was complete, the engineer conducted a pressure test to check for leaks and verify the system's integrity. The dry riser held pressure with no signs of leakage, confirming that the repair was successful. The system was then recommissioned and returned to full operational status.
