Lead Fire Engineer
To help support our continued growth, we are currently recruiting a Lead Fire Engineer with experience in fire alarm, extinguisher, and emergency lighting service, installation and maintenance. The role will involve overseeing projects, mentoring engineers, and ensuring all work meets British Standards and client expectations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the key areas:
– Leading and supporting a team of engineers on installation and maintenance projects.
– Carrying out servicing, fault finding, commissioning, and installations on fire alarms, extinguishers, and emergency lighting systems.
– Reviewing certification and ensuring compliance documentation is completed accurately.
– Providing technical support and on-site training to junior engineers.
– Overseeing site safety, project delivery, and quality assurance.
– Liaising with office staff and clients to ensure smooth communication and customer satisfaction.
About You:

– Minimum 5 years’ experience within the fire safety industry
Qualifications:

– FIA or equivalent fire alarm qualifications (desirable)
– Full UK Driving Licence
– GCSE Maths and English to at least a C grade
– You will be required to have a DBS check carried out
Desirable but not essential:
– Experience leading a team or mentoring engineers
– Multi-skilled in additional areas such as AOV systems, dry risers, or hydrants
– Competent in fire risk assessments or passive fire protection knowledge

Smoke Vent AOV Engineer
To help support our growth, we are currently recruiting professionals with experience in Smoke Vent AOV service, installation and maintenance. The product range covers smoke control, natural ventilation controls, window automation and manual window control.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the key areas:
– 1st fix installation of cabling on smaller projects.
– 2nd fix installation of control panels and accessories.
– Commissioning of the AOV system and handing over system to client.
– Servicing smoke vent systems as part of 12month health checks.
– Overseeing installation of new systems
– Working to high British standards and good knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Fire Alarm Engineer
We are offering a permanent role for a qualified Fire Alarm Engineer, 40 hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, with some out of hours work at weekends depending on the client.
Your role will be to commission, maintain and service Fire Alarms, and attend emergency call outs.
𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
• FIA Level 3 Fundamentals of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems in Non-Domestic Premises. BS 5839-1 (or equivalent qualification)
• FIA Unit 1 Fire Detection Design. BS 5839 BS 5839FIA (or equivalent qualification)
• FIA Unit 4 Fire Detection System Installation & Testing (or equivalent qualification)
• FIA Unit 5 Fire Alarm Systems Maintenance (or equivalent qualification)

Fire Risk Assessor
To help support our growth, we are recruiting a Fire Risk Assessor with experience (or strong interest) in carrying out fire risk assessments, audits, and compliance inspections across commercial, residential, and mixed-use premises.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the key areas:
– Conducting fire risk assessments (including identifying hazards, evaluating risk levels, and recommending mitigation measures)
– Preparing detailed reports and action plans for clients
– Reviewing existing fire safety policies, evacuation plans, and fire procedures
– Carrying out follow-up visits, reviews and ensuring clients implement recommendations
– Liaising with clients, building managers, contractors, and fire & rescue authorities
– Ensuring compliance with relevant fire safety legislation (e.g. Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022)
– Keeping up to date with changes in fire safety legislation, standards, best practice
– Assisting with fire safety training and stakeholder engagement as required
About You:
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
– Good organisational skills, ability to manage multiple assessments/projects
– Self-motivated, reliable and professional
– Comfortable travelling to client sites across the region (or UK-wide, depending on role)
– Physically able to access different building types (stairs, roofs, tight spaces etc.)
– Full UK Driving Licence
Educational & Professional Qualifications:
– No strict degree requirement, but a degree in a relevant field (e.g. building surveying, fire engineering, health & safety, construction) is advantageous Prospects+1
– Recognised fire safety / risk assessment qualifications such as:
• Level 3 NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety Prospects
• FireQual Level 4 Award in Fire Risk Assessment in High-Risk Premises Prospects
• FPA Level 3 Certificate or Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment Prospects
• Comparable qualifications from Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) Prospects+1
– Familiarity with British Standards and fire safety regulations (BS 9999, BS 5839, BS 5266, etc.)
– Membership (or willingness to apply) to relevant professional bodies (e.g. IFE, IFSM)
– You may be required to undergo a DBS check (depending on premises type, clients, or sector)
Desirable but not essential:
– Previous experience in fire safety consultancy, auditing or risk assessment
– Experience with fire systems (alarms, suppression, passive protection)
– Experience in delivering fire safety training
– Knowledge of compartmentation, means of escape, fire modelling
