Our Fire Marshal/Warden course covers the latest fire safety regulations and covers the roles and duties of employees and their responsibilities when it comes to fire safety. It complies with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Why should you choose our course?
Our experienced and highly qualified trainers will teach you how to be as safe as possible in the event of a potential emergency. This course is not just for Fire Marshals but is suitable for anyone with responsibility for fire safety; managers, supervisors and safety representatives. You’ll learn all the above as well as having some hands-on experience learning how to use fire extinguishers correctly on a controlled live fire, but most importantly, have fun! At the ed of the course, you’ll receive a Total Safe certificate.
Where are the courses held?
Our short, inexpensive courses can help save people and property in the event of a fire. We offer closed courses for up to 12 people at your own premises, or you can come along to one of our open training courses running throughout the year in our office in Fobbing, Essex.
In addition to this, we also run a shorter “Practical Use of Fire Extinguishers” course for some extra hands-on time using extinguishers.
Basic Life Support Courses
Did you know that as well as Fire Safety Courses, we also run Basic Life Support Courses throughout the year?
Our short and fun courses will teach you to provide basic life support (BLS), resuscitation and help you feel confident using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). In an emergency, having a trained individual on hand to provide basic life support can mean the difference between life and death. In some cases, the use of an AED is what save’s a person’s life.
Which topics are covered on the course?
- Recognise and treat a choking adult, child or infant
- Initiate basic life support
- Recognise an adult, child or infant in cardiac arrest
- Identify how and when to use the recovery position
- Appropriately handover the patient to the emergency services
- Demonstrate competence in using an AED
- Know how to service and maintain an AED
- Recognise the safety aspects of defibrillation
- Describe cardiac rhythms and what happens during defibrillation
- Describe the chain of survival and need for defibrillation
Where are the courses held?
We can come to you for a closed course (for up to 12 people) or you can come along to one of our open courses throughout the year which take place in our offices in Fobbing, Essex.
Our course ensures you are fully trained and confident in both and upon completion, you will receive a Total Safe certificate. Certificates are valid for 1 year and comply with the latest ECR and UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines.
